Our Process
The property valuation process is more than simply putting a price tag on a home. The information obtained in the appraisal, along with the efficient and timely delivery of the report, are essential parts of the overall success of any real estate transaction.

From first contact to final report, our streamlined appraisal process ensures you will receive the accurate information you need, when you need it.

  1. Request an appraisal via phone, fax or through our convenient online order form.
  2. The appraiser is provided with the information they need to begin their appraisal. They do not have access to any information that could compromise their independent position.
  3. If the appraisal is used as part of a purchase agreement, we will review any sales/purchase contracts as required by USPAP.
  4. The appraisal report is delivered to the lender/client, in its entirety as presented by the appraiser. We will not alter, change or modify the report.
  5. A copy of the original report is maintained by Sterling Appraisal Management and is available to the lender/client.
